If they were going to be later than planned, we received a phone call. The staff was very professional and respectful. The workmanship was excellent. My project consisted of installing a new granite countertop and backsplash, converting my tub into a walk-in shower, and installing new wood floors in three bedrooms. One of the things I value most is open and frequent communication. John Ellison surpassed my expectations and called me (not texted) with timely updates. He kept me apprised of every detail and step in the process. He was also considerate of the hardship of living without a kitchen, bedroom, and shower by moving the work along in systematic fashion. John’s crew is to be commended as well. Along with John, the crew are excellent craftsmen and meticulous regarding details. Zac, Skip, and Gary, are dedicated and professional, and worked hard throughout the time they are here. They each have a solid work ethic and genuinely dedicated to doing a job well done. It is evident they respect John, as well. All remodeling projects have there unexpected challenges and mine did have a surprise finding in the shower wall. It was an electrical wire that needed rerouting. Although the problem involved having to stop work, John was able to find an electrician on short notice to fix the problem. It was frustrating to find the situation and I was upset, however, John handled the situation perfectly. To be clear, the issue was not of John or his crew’s making. It something that happened and the kind of curve ball that can throw a project off track. That said, John handled the problem professionally, asked for my input, and was able to keep the work moving forward. Overall, I highly recommend Ozarks Home Renovation. You may need to wait to get on his schedule, however it is well worth waiting for a contractor and crew who put you at the forefront, complete work timely, and keep you informed throughout the process.
